Hello all,

I've quickly typed up the following. At the very end
there's the bits I could still use some help with, if
at all possible, given that I simply don't have access
to most of these items and haven't been playing
Shadowrun as long as a lot of you. Please send any
submissions to jjvanp@*****.com so as to prevent list
pollution. I'll collate corrections/additions and
re-post when there's enough of them. In addition, if a
decent number of images are submitted, I'll set up an
HTML-version somewhere.

If you feel you've got a story to tell and possibly a
few pictures to show with regards to any of these
listed items, then feel free to submit it.

A List of Shadowrun Collectibles b0.2

[Odd]

Dunkelzahn's ashes (can anyone confirm this? Besides
the fact that there weren't supposed to be any ashes
left)

[non-US available]

Japanese Shadowrun Phone Card

Japanese SR comics

Shadowrun Dice Bag (French-only?)

[Various press/access/other cards]

- Denver Sector Access Set

- Gencon (1989 - 2003?)

[Clothing&Accessories]

- Ring

- Pendant

- Pin

- Shadowrun jacket (Equine Supply Company)

- ShadowRN list T-shirts (unofficial, pics @
http://www.xs4all.nl/~gurth)

[Non-P&P Games]

- SNES

- Genesis

(both of the above are downloadable from
the-underdogs.org)

- Shadowrun Duels (Heroclix) Figures

[Shadowrun Promotional Material]

- Posters

* Enlargement of 1st/2nd-ed rulebook cover

- Shadowrun Update Leaflets

* Humans & The Cycle Of Magic
* Hunter & Prey
* Post Mortem
* Rex Tremendae
* Voices From The Past
* Wyrm Talk
* After Midnight
* High Dive

- Shadowrun Promotional Commercial

[Directly P&P-related collectibles]

- BABY's (1000-limited-run 3rd ed. rulebooks)

- Shadowrun pre-release proofreaders

- Original artwork

- Official Soundtrack CD

Supposedly missing/needs expansion:

The actual/approximate time items were released
-The chronology of the update leaflets

The item contexts that aren't immediately apparent
(i.e.: Dunklezahn's ashes supposedly handed out at
GenCon)

There are supposed to be more posters than listed here

I suspect I might've missed out on more than a few
passes

I expect there to be quite a few Germany-only special
promo items and the likes

The company that released the Soundtrack CD

Pictures/Scans of anything that can be shown without
violating copyright (I assume there will be no
problems with this for the first four categories)

Descriptions/OCR's of anything that can't be pictured

If any of the artists that are associated with
Shadowrun have put any of their
originals/reproductions up for sale anywhere, then it
might be worth adding this to the list (a lot of stuff
by Earl Geier can currently be found on Ebay).

I'd personally like to see the promotional commercial,
if anyone could digitize it for all, then I wouldn't
mind finding someplace to host it

Yes, these exist.

There is Japanese SR Manga, plus RPG releases and "Replays" - basically
transcribed RPG sessions in story format.

A cover of one of the Replays is here:

There are, of course, a variety of Shadowrun t-shirts that have been
made for FanPro booth staff, demo monkeys, friends, and convention
tournament winners. Most of these were produced in quantities of under
50.

The cats in my apartment LOVE this year's version.

> - Shadowrun Duels (Heroclix) Figures

These are not "Heroclix" figures. Heroclix is one of the games produced
by WizKids, but it is a specific product - their superhero collectible
minis game. Calling them "Heroclix" is just plain incorrect.

Again, there's a bunch of these. I have FASA's Matrix cover as a poster
kicking around, and FanPro's Dragons of the Sixth World.

> - Shadowrun pre-release proofreaders

Sweet, my hard drive is fuckin' collectible!

I don't think these count as collectible, really. You shouldn't have
this material unless you've been granted specific permission to access
it.

They were. 1996, I believe?

Oh, FanPro did punk patches using the tags of the major Seattle gangs
at Origins/Gencon 2003.

I can verify this, since I own some. They're pretty
cheesy, though--just some ashes wrapped up in some
iridescent plastic wrap with a photocopied tag tied to them
indicating what they are. I've got them packed away in a box
somewhere, as they make a horrible mess. :)

There's also a few for the Trading Card Game, one with the
cover of Corporate Download, and a Dunkelzahn election poster.

Unless he's talking about the PropWash stuff that's recently
become available...I'd say that's pretty collectible. :)

Whatever year Dunkelzahn bit the big one. I think it might
be '97, but I'm too lazy to check right now. :)

Oh, and prototype Shadowrun: Duels figures. I've got a couple
of these too (they say Prototype on the base).

There's a handful of others as well, some that were possibly only used as
promotional items sent to game stores. Cataloguing these could be a
daunting task :]

I'd also add in a bunch of buttons...

There were 4 buttons with icons from the Shadowrun Trading Card
Game. There are several pewter buttons, as well as several cloisonne
pins. There was a simple black button with the blue SR "S" done last year
at Gen Con and handed out in small numbers, as well as a version this year
that was the same button, but said "Gen Con 2064" on it.

There have been a LOT of limited release type collectibles over the
year... SO good luck with this list.

The passes handed out and/or sold by FanPro at Spiel (this year's is a week
from now, BTW) over the last couple of years. I have 9 of them, but IIRC
there was one more last year that had sold out :(

There are many more posters. I have one with the art of the SRII GM screen,
one with Corporate Download cover art, one with SR:TCG art, one with SR3
cover art and one with Matrix cover art.

> The company that released the Soundtrack CD

Orion Design Studio, 1999. This had something to do with the Antwerp game
store, The Lonely Mountain (now OOB), but I don't know exactly what.

I only just noticed this, but the link is
http://plastic.dumpshock.com/shirts, not the one above -- that will only
get you to a site that hasn't been updated for a while:
