I have seen items refering to Shadowrun as a Fantasy RPG. I disagree with
this misnomer. I consider Shadowrun to be of the Cyberpunk genre. Granted it
does incorporate some mechanics often associated to fantasy rpg's, but
that does not make it fantasy. Am I the only one that thinks this way?

NO! Most assuredly, you are not the only one who thinks this way..
ShadowRun is most definitely first, and foremost, a CyberPunk game.
True, it does have a bit of magic and metatypes mixed in, but it
is still a Cyberpunk game..
