In Germany it is very difficult with serious RPG. it gives a Game:
DSA and this is published by a great company while SR published by a
small company. And you can get no books in the stores. Only a few
stores has SR. And in Germany it is difficul to play: often I hear:
uhh it is so brutal and you kill people. It's so a false moral!!

Well, as mentioned earlier I'm from Germany, too, but here in Luebeck we have
in our only RPG-Store lots of SR and all other important stuff, too. Until
now I haven't experienced that SR is difficult to play in Germany. Maybe down
there in Passau RPG-evolution hasn't reached thus far ? :)

Nope, chum, that's not correct. Over here in Germany, almost every
games store does have SR stuff, because it sells big time. It's
correct that DSA (Das Schwarze Auge, or, in the UK, Realms Of
Arcadia) is published by a big corp, while FanPro, the German SR
makers, is a relatively small one. However, DSA is a pure fantasay
game, and I don't think it'll attract potential cyberpunk players too
much.

I think this reasoning can be found everywhere within the rpg
community. It's not Germany (ADL?)-specific.

Don't hesitate, this is *your* game!

:)

Nope.
Get real, have a look around. Even in the small town I live in (~150K people)
I get SR stuff w/o problems, about 2 weeks after it is released in the USA.
And when one tries to get english books, it does wonders to ask a bookshop to
order them, I am quite sure you can do so even in Passau. So ka?

Sascha, you don't live in a small town!!!! In Australia, that would be a
major city.
A small town has about 3,000 people. The kind of place where you practically
know everyone else!

150k people...small town...my God!

*dirty grin* I bet you have enough kangoroos in town to fill the gaps :-)
And trust me, I know most (well, many) of the people about my age... this is
what 7 years working in a disco does to you :-)
