Just dug this out of my college scrapbook.
We had some unused steam-tunnels at my ancient college in Minnesota, and
since I was the photo lab supervisor my Junion and Senior year, I had open
access to them (ideally for storage, but ... ;-))
Anywho, I shot some "pseudo-Shadowrun" photos of some of th guys in my dorm
in costume.
They came out pretty decent, since back then I had access to a complete
photo lab!

I finally scanned one in and posted it to my website.

The link is ...

Let me know what you think
I've got a few ideas for some more, so if you like them, give me some
encouragement for more! ;-)

Tinner-very cool! I'd like to see more. If I didn't think it would be
horribly embarassing, I would consider dressing up as a shadowrunner and
taking my picture in front of some suitably shadowrunnish locale... for
now, I settle for altering catalog photos. There's a couple on my web
page, for those who haven't seen them. Particularly rand.jpg. But hey,
Halloween is coming up...Anyone know where I can get some fake tusks? :>

I like this idea, and have a thought? Anyone else have the ability to get
into more fun for "SR Idea Costumes", do them up for Halloween (or whatever
other reason you need ;), take a pic, scan 'em in, and then have the fun. A
sort of "non-official" list member costume contest.

No prizes of course, other than the sheer enjoyment.

Some of these could get strange, too, if they try to dress as their
characters and their characters routinely wear warpaint, a la Harlequin or
the Crow....

I like the idea, though. Might have to do something along those lines.

I know I've still got my longcoat (the black one), actually, I got a new one
this year, much more professionalish looking. Got the hat and a bunch of
stuff I can implement from other places.

Now then, a question -IF- we go with this costume contest sort of thing, do we
stick with standard lighting, or do we get to being in Power-Goo, Paint-Pro,
and all the other neat toys??

Use anything you want,
effect is everything, why set rules?

I'm cool with the toys. I've got Photoshop right here, and I know how to
use it!

All righty then, I think we can offically declare Shadowrun to have
arrived as a RPG; someone's gone "steam-tunneling" because of it. (At
a college in the state of Minnesota, no less. That's worth bonus
points.)
