Gun control laws are not aimed at regulating the USE of guns. They are
aimed at regulating the AVAILABILITY of guns. The laws can work, if
enforced... that's why you don't see many crooks with tanks, for example.
OTH, it's probably a _little_ late to start controlling the availability
of guns when there's such an ample supply already.

This is not the case in the United States, the proponants of Gun Control
are attempting to effect the USE of guns by regulating the AVAILABLITY of them.
Every time a small child shots a playmate, the gun-control nuts are out using it
as an example of why guns should be banned. They keep coming up with new laws
and legal ideas [shot in a robbery, sue the gun manufacture. After all he is
responsible, because if he did not make the gun you could not be shot. Lawyers
are wonderful :)] By the way are you aware that the gun registration laws don't
apply to criminals [As it is aganist the law for a convited felon to possess a
gun, requiring him to register it is a violation of his 5th Amendment right of
not self-incrimiating himself.....aren't Lawyers wonderful, they make the US
such an interesting place to live.]. I agree that it is to late....unless one
advocates a mass house to house search. And that would be interesting to see.
