Actually it does depend on the GM and the players. The game systems that I
have had the most enjoyable games were DeepSleep (simplistic system by local
author), Shadowrun second edition, Polis (Complex system by local author),
AD&D (we all know how awful the system is and who's to blame), ... and in all
of these games my fellow players and myself enjoyed the game not because of
the system but because of the effort put forth by the participants.

BTW: Lets talk about SRII and not about what system is better...
Bringing Kender, Gnomes, ... are legitimate because they do cause
Role-Playing (I have seen people roll-play shadowrun alao)
