It would have been somewhat useful to have know a bit further in
advance but the warning about 'campain 2057' in the sourcebooks was
good enough that you can leave the rigged election as 'sure there was
an election in 2056 but i didn't mention it as it didn't really
affect your characters at the time' now we know it was rigged and
there might be a lot of shadow work thats a different story, GM's do
similar tricks often enough though they do tend to know to drop the
hints.

Yes which made this one a disaster for dates. It would have been most
helpful if FASA had just block added '+ x months' to all dates in Bug
City once they realised how late it was going to be, i still had to
tell players 'oh something happened in Chicago five days ago' when
they got back from a night (3 months real time) waltzing the
metaplanes with Harlequin due to time lag on the actual bug city
dates.

Its generally ok, Bug city was the real 'timeline problem'. To those
that don't know FASA do actually say you can change the city as a GM
they just picked their hometown.

Agreed and it is working a lot better now the dates are back though i
suspect a lot of the lag early last year was matters beyond thier
control with folks leaving and the loss of Nigle Findley.
