In my German edition of Shadowtech it says that "Muskelverstärkung"
(Bioware Muscle Augmentation the Version 2 thing NOT the new stuff
from the M&M) has a Quickness and Reaction bonus of 1*Level. We always
used Quickness and Strength, because we thought that Strength makes
much more sense than Reaction in that place. Could anyone tell me what
it says about that in the english Shadowtech or if there is any Errata
for Shadowtech to be found on the net ?

My spelling might not be perfect that is because I'm from German ;)

It's Quickness & Strength.

First, I'm not sure if you're aware, but with SR3, Shadowtech has been
replaced by man and machine. In that edition, muscle augmentation has
changed rather significantly (lower cost, and strength OR quickness).

To answer your question though, muscle augmentation from Shadowtech
specifically affects strength and quickness, not quickness and reaction.

Hope that answers the question.

If you haven't done the math, though, one level of
both M&M augmentations has the same Bio Index and
monetary cost as one level of the old Shadowtech
augmentation. It still works out the same, they've
just split the costs up. Of course, that's an
advantage if you only want one or the other, or can't
afford the cost to get both at the same time.

According to Hexren, on Wed, 26 Feb 2003 the word on the street was...

In the English version it enhances Quickness and Strength, with the note
that the Quickness enhancement affects Reaction as normal (unlike cyberware
muscle replacement, which does not). I don't think there's an errata that
says differently.

Yep, but if you add up the new muscle augmentation and muscle toner, you
have the old (Shadowtech) muscle augmentation.
