Elf Shamans should not be treated any differently than any other shaman. They
just happen to be elves.

Physical Adepts are written are not hermetic or shamanic. However, if the
player wants to have a "shamanic" physical adept it can be done with no change
in rules.
Step 1: Choose a Totem.
Step 2: Choose PA abilities that are in line with the Totem's personality.
Step 3: Roleplay the disadvantage that Shaman's of that Totem have.
Easy as pie.
Marcel Emami, you've hit upon an idea which many of us have discussed. I even
wrote up a rules variation for "Gradual Initiation". It will be in NERPS:
Shadowlore, but if you ask Robert Hayden real nice he might forward you a copy.

FASA got a brain and took it out.
My good Doctor, you should read post more carefully before responding. Pappa
was not suggesting the repugnant PA-Shamanic Adept hybrid, but a Phyical Adept
who follows a totem.

Note that the speedfreak sammi has Quickness of 12, Intelligence 10, and a

Sometimes Stefan says something intelligent.
