I managed some time on the scanner, and scanned in a B&W of the horn logo.

I was too tired to continue working today (touch of a hangover from a
'Free South Africa' party last night . . . freedom won . . . it's miller
time).

Tomorrow, I'll get the text written up and scan in the done-ded image.

Hopefully, the graphic will be available by tomorrow evening.

Hey, if you, or, indeed, anyone else, is having problems scanning
stuff in, let me know, coz I can basically scan stuff in like, no
problem - hand the picture to me, and ten minutes later, it's on
the Net, kind of thing... I generally use the gif format, coz I
use XView for viewing piccies (which also means I can muck around
with the image, as far as sharpness, and hue, etc. goes..). So, if
You want something scanned in from SRII, just drop me an email, and
I'll do it, ok? For the rest of you, don't inundate me with emails
about scanning pics just coz you want them, ok? I don't want to
spend the rest of my life slaving over the scanner... ;)
*goes off to check if he can scan stuff in, and make it into a .ps
file*

With xv you can save the file in .ps format. Just take the files, lp
-dcolor pic.ps, and you are good to go.

This works great with pics that you get off of USENET. Those pics of
Marina Sirtis look great in the lab's back room :-)

Counselor Troi on Star Trek: TNG. Before she joined the enterprise, she
was in a couple of low-budget movies where she did a topless scene, so
now it is a mission for newbie-freshmen-wannabe.geeks to try to find a
gif of Troi topless.

Marina Sirtis plays Councilor Deanna Troi on Next Gen. What she's doing on
the bridge of a starship, I have no idea. And I don't want to, either :).

Marina Sirtis plays the character Deanna Troi, ships counciler, on
Star Trek: The Next Generation. And she is *SHORT*. *grin* A friend
of mine literally ran into her at a con and didn't recognize her until
after he apologized. Boy he felt stupid (he's a Trek nut like me...but worse)
and she came up to his chin (he's roughly 6'2").

Marina Sirtis is debatably (sp) the most beautifull character to ever
grace "Star Trex: The Next Generation."
You might not get this show depending on which side of the "pond" you're
on.
Marina Sirtis; deffinitely Low Maintenance

Marina Sirtis is Deanna Troi of Star Trek: TNG fame. I will see what I
can do about putting them on my home page. Check it out in about a week
or two.

Thank you for playing.

Thanks, I needed that :).

I've met Sirtis, in person. You do /not/ want to see her without her
makeup.

So if *SHORT* is coming up to the chin of 6'2" person (kinda tall I'd
say) what is *SHORT* in English or Metric measurement?

I will have to admit, I am not a BIG Trek fan. But, if there is an epsode
on and it doesn't look to boring, I will watch it.
But anyway, if she came up to the chin of a 6'2" person......
Well, I am 6'6", and well, you get the picture.

HERE, HERE!!! I must hole-heartedly agree with the Fearless
Leader on this one. Ensign Ro is definitely higher on the list than
the good councelor. Of cource Dr. Beverly Crusher runs a close second
to Ensign Ro.

Ah, I almost agree. I still think Dr. Beverly is the most attractive. Ensign
Ro is the most -beautiful- but I still think Dr. Bev. is the most attractive.

Bev spent too much whining to be interesting for very long, though. Ro
at least had spunk.
