Eeeeeasy [dumb diceless rpg GM's grin]:
Point-blank to near distance and armor around 4: hasta la vista, baby
farther distance: upper medium or serious damage

Duh.

I know that much; I once had my favourite character stand in front of a
van-full of (5) guys all firing shotguns. He won, because he was faster,
and only survived becasue of his orthoskin, trauma damper and platelet
factory.... I think I took an equivalent 15 squares physical.

It's interesting to speculate what he looked like after he did that,
because he managed to walk away.... Somehow.

I was actually after what damage codes you use for a solid round from a
shotgun, as opposed to flechette.

Last night, in the Shadowrun game, Grendel the cyber-troll took repeated
bursts of machinegun fire without taking a single box of damage. Of
course, he has partical cover, 14 body, a Karma Pool of 10, orthoskin and
pretty good armor.

But, as the GM, I was offended that he didn't even get a scratch. (Even
though I destryoed the Rigger's Hunter Drone, almost killed another PC -
he would have died except he's got the "new player's boon", which means
I'm not as nasty to new players until they get used to the system and the
campaign.)

So, next week, Grendel's going insane.

He was actually going to go insane anyway - they're going after some
renegade corpsec troops that are being controlled by a Wraith. Guess which
PC the Wraith is going to choose to be his special friend?

Rick Jones No-one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they
rick@******.com say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's
Meyrick@***.com even grown to like it. Oh yes.
