Long, rude rant follows.

I, like many others, am sick of these threads that are virulently spreading
across the list. I do not want to know about Kid Rock, art, the state of
science fiction or any of those other lumps of shit barely connected to the
new sourcebook you intellectuals like to go on about to make yourselves look
big. I'm sure there are other lists for this kind of thing. I hope GridSec
stomps them all out, but every time they say something, you just use it to
start yet another bullshit thread unrelated to Shadowrun. There are 104
unread posts in my Deleted folder, and most of the crap is by a small
handful of people. You can't see a scab without picking at it, can you? You
have to have the last word at all costs. You can find eachother's personal
EMail addresses easily enough, send your opinions privately and leave
ShadowRN to we who want to talk about the game.
A few weeks ago, Doc and I had a disagreement about the state of literacy in
the '60's. We had opposing viewpoints, a few others joined in, we replied to
eachother about three times saying "Yes but...", then about the same time we
sent posts saying that only time will tell, lets agree to disagree, and that
was the end of it. We did not choke up everyone's servers to strut our egos
in front of everyone. Are we the only mature people here? Actually no, most
of the clients on this list are keeping out of the arguements, it is a
select few, always the same select few, who just wont leave well enough
alone. And before you start, this is NOT censorship. It is not censorship to
throw a boot at the cat yawping on the fence all night, go elsewhere and
send your posts for the next twenty years at the rate of three a minute for
all I care. Just leave us out of it, OK?
I am sorry to everyone else about this frankly offensive post, but I've had
it. Every few weeks my server is near overloaded and my download limit is
neared because of these inconsiderate buffoons. The time for polite "lets
keep this on topic"s is over, only rudeness carries the message some times.

End of rant.

And the answer to off-topic posts that *ended* nine hours ago is to post
another inflammatory off-topic post? You *did* notice the *two* GridSec
notices killing the thread, right?

Brilliant. Anyway, it's not as if I have infinite space for e-mail
either. Thanks for helping me reduce the load on my own buffer.

My last words on the subject, honest. All I know is that I checked my mail
this afternoon and was deluged, I had no idea when or if it ended. I did
notice Gridsec killing the posts, and then new threads about what they said
starting. Oh well, sorry. Just keep my post and read it next time this
happens everybody. And it will happen again.

However the topic of the e-mail could be a bit more polite don't you
think?

I Do!

But seriously folks, I had a question regarding people who play Deckers.
What kind of storage space do your characters normally build into their
decks? Offline? A player of mine is wondering about creating a decker and
would like to know.

As much as they can possibly afford.

As much as they can possibly afford.

Computer storage space is like closet space in a house, you can never have
to much :)
