Two things:
1. Has anyone got missions yet if so what's it like?
2. Does any one have brothers or sisters that they play with? My brother
(15 i think) Has allways been way against roleplaying..but the other day I
was playing with some people in his year he did one game (shadowrun what
else?) and I think he is now addicted...every 10 mins he goes " when the
next role play tim?". it was kind of gratifying to hear him say that..(but
maybe I am just going soppy ;) )

And that was another thought from the black depths of my mind.

My baby brother (age 20) doesn't play but he has just discovered
music and the opposite sex. I get that same sappiness when he wants to
hit the clubs with me. It's a family thing I guess
(functional/disfunctional or whatever). It's a shame he's more into rave
and I'm more into industrial and gothic right now.

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal names
more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.
History repeats itself.

hmm, he hasn't got that far yet...(god forbid)...but it is quite groovey
having my brother going round talking about the cool way he geeked these
corp slobs :)

And that was another thought from the black depths of my mind.

I haven't even seen it, but I haven't been in a gaming store since just
before Christmas (when I got to see my mom buy the GM's Screen so that
she could give it to me with Shadowtech, Awakenings, and the Shadowrun
Companion:)

I'm the only one in my house that plays any RPGs...my parents kinda make
fun of me about it (in a nice way:) and my sister (15) just kinda smiles
and nods whenever I tell her anything about it (I think she finally gave
up on telling me to shut up every third time I opened my mouth:)

It's decent. The best mission in there is Mission Mars where it goes into a
bit of depth on Dunk's photo of Cydonia w/ the Flying Saucer.

Goodie!
Maybe it's those Rocket Skates I ordered from the ACME company!
The last pair backfired and almost blew my legs halfway to my Duodenum.
But I'll get that pesky Road Runner yet.
With My Life's Blood I swear it!

I'm VERY interested in that, but please, nobody post any info about the
Missions missions w/o serious spoiler spaces...

My GM has it and I'll prob end up running in at least one of those...

(Hopefully he'll be able to convert the Mission: Mars one for our reg.
characters, Bull and Co.:))

A good buddy of mine and his older brother (by one year) play RIFTS
...although the older one tends to take it a LOT less serious than the
rest of us. While we tend to have a lot of fun it usually drives the GM
(my buddy) insane as his older brother regresses into a giggling idiot
(many a session has ended with his brother and the rest of us rolling on
the floor and the GM pulling his hair out :-). Everyonce in a while we
even get his younger sister (also by a year) to play too ... although she
won't admit that in public.
