Well gentles, 'tis that time of year when I must bid my fellow lovers of
shadow au revoir. Until next September, I hope that the night is kind to
you, and may you find shade and sweet water.

Oh-kay.

Last day on the job, which means I'm leaving the list for an unknown time
to come. Not that I actually expect anybody to notice my departure...

"Appearance revised" and "Cyberlimbs revised" might show up on the
list
later when I'm done with 'em. I'll have my chummer Stefan post it so you
can expose them to your opinions properly.

And take care, now, after all it's a plasticrete jungle out there...
among the shadows.

Regards,

FL

Well, I hate having to do this, but I've managed to screw up badly enough
this quarter that if I don't start hauling ass I'm not gonna pass. So,
for the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be NOMAIL on ShadowRN. I'll
still be receiving e-mail, by the way, just not this list. Anyway,
cheers! I'll see you again in a few weeks (if my parents don't kill me
over my grades <cringe>)

Well, fall is 'round the corner again, and y'all know what that means...

Yeah, school...

So I'm logging off for a few weeks, time to get settled in, buying a new
comp, the usual college parties (yeah, as if), etc...

When I'll be back, it'll be with a spanking-new Ethernet connection...

BTW, for those interrested, the Email accounts won't work anymore (well,
they will, but they won't reach me). I'll get a new one pretty soon.

See ya in a few...

Due to this amazing phenomenon known as a "life", I seem to have less and
less time for the list, now (don't ask me what a life is... I just got
one, and still haven't tried out all the buttons). Not to mention the
fact that I haven't actually done any of my reading for History and
Culture of Rome in about 2 weeks, Economics for damn near four, and I'm
not sure I ever got a book for my expos class... In other words, I need
to drop the highest-volume list I have, which happens to be this one (for
every post I get from any of the others, I get two or three or,
occasionally, thirty from this one).

So, happy trails, hasta luego, I might be back once I catch up (and
hopefully exceed) my current requirements.

And yes, I know my reply-to field overrides the list. Why SPAM with my
leaving?

I'm staying, but I have to admit, even with my mail filtering and
scoring, I'm deleting more of this list than I'm reading.

I wouldn't say it's off topic or noise, just so many people posting
about their favourite game.

Perhaps someone could suggest a new and more focused list topic, and
start a new list to relieve the pressure on this one?

There are already some other lists for more focused things - in character
chatter, fiction writing and commentary, net.book creation, etc..

I don't see a logical way to divide ShadowRN into multiple lists that would
work well. It's been suggested before and nobody has come up with a
particularly good way to do it.

There was once a ShadowGM list for Shadowrun GMs. But there weren't enough
GM only posts to sustain it.

About the only suggestion that I would make is to add a ShadowRNOT list for
OT posts, and threads that have moved to OTness.
