Which adventure was it that 'Pride' the lion shaman was in? Cause that is
where *I* first started using levitate at ungodly levels.

Besides, With levitate person, you get the really big THUMP when they bang
off the ceiling. Not the little thump of them hitting the floor. ;)

BTW: Could you blow somone into space using an enhanced version of
levitate person?

Not unless it was really, REALLY, enhanced. The limitations on a
levitate spell are: your magic rating, going up, down or to each side.
For example... Star has a magic rating of 6. She can levitate herself or
someone else 6meters up,down, or to each side. So unless you
magic rating is ungodly or you are really enhanced, it is not possible.

If I remember the livitate spell right, the distance is Magic multiplied
by Successes. So, a magic 8 magician with a powerful levitate spell can
manage a really long distance, but not enough for a space trip.
This start also the long debate of magic and space, see writings on this
topic in NAGtRL (I think).

How about a spell that reverses gravity? That'd be a f/2+3D(That is an
offhand speculation, I really don't know the exact stats). Manipulation
spell from hell. Hmm.... Sounds like I could use it.

Yes, Stefan, you're right. What I posted is what my GM told my mage
character. After I posted this information, he told me that I was wrong,
and that he had "forgotten" to tell me this when we were playing. I
retract my statement.
