Actually, if I remember my Trivial Metallurgical Facts correctly
silver is the best conductor of electricity. Copper is the second best and
aluminum ranks up there. The reason you don't see too many silver
conductors is because of cost (well duh!). I think they use silver or a
silver/(fill in the blank metal) alloy for circuit boards. Are there any
sparkies out there with additional info? Yes, gold is an electrical
conductor, but not incredibly good. Why they use gold connectors in those
fancy stereo plugs is beyond me.
Wasn't this character made under SR1 rules? Wasn't Silver in thoe
rules supposed to be "magical silver" or some goofy crap like that? I
would provide better info but I am sans books here at the ol' lab.
Clarifications, if necessary, are appreciated.
