How hard would it be to translate a pile of those punch cards they used to
use in the 60s? Were there different opperating systems for those? Were
the cards clearly marked as to which OS/Compiler they required?

Yeah, but speaking from a position that has seen both sides I think GRANITE
has the odds of getting it right in his favor. Ever year I get older my Dad
gets smarter.

Thanks Patrick I will. I've never written to them before and I'm kind of
the "don't wan't to bother them" person, but I will.

If I remember correctly, the rationale for this is that simsense rules will

Not necessarily. All ItNW means (in SR3) is that a spirit gets Hardened
Armor (well, not exactly, to be accurate --- I'll get to that later) equal
to twice its Essence (which, in the case of conjured spirits, is its
Force). Drones carrying regular small arms (rifles and smaller) could be
able to damage low-Force spirits (1 or

3: A place on the website where playtest files could be checked, instead of
just a select few being chosen to try out new material. While there is some
concern for loss of sales due to downloads versus buying the book, if
properly limited it could serve to whet customer's appetites even more.

4: Simplify the web page. While it looks cool and all, with having that
many frames and the actual information taking up about half of the width of
the page, tops, is sometimes hard to read.

5: The new choice Start Here is a good thing to put up there. Its a great
way to guide new customers. But, its really hard to find anything at all
that actually says what Shadowrun IS. How about copying the SR3 preview
stuff right to the front of the page. Between the blurb about the SR3
rulebook, to the Game Concepts excerpts, this would be perfect for showing
a first time looker who likes the pictures exactly what all of this stuff
relates to. I'd love to be able to print out 2 or 3 sheets like that to
show to people and explain what the games is all about.

Since I do a lot of stuff online, I've focused on those points
specifically. I'm sure there are others also. Does anybody want to add
other points, or better yet tell me that they agree with me and we can send
them to FASA together?

I would say it's not more "secure", just more inaccessable. True, in many
cases this can be the same thing to many people (if you don't have the gear
to translate/listen to it with, you can't get at it), but not from the actual
POV of "Security". It would also depend on the information being stored.

How do you figure the Reputation ratings? I've seen them dotted around here
and there, but I've not seen anything as to how to figure them out.
