What I do is if a character has done some really nice roleplaying
I will just give them some more karma points. I have also on occasion given
someone a free point in a skill if i feel that they deserved it(ie. spent a
considerable amount of time useing and perfecting it, mabeyalso studieing
it) but at a los of some or all of there karma for that run. Depends on
the skill level and the cicumstances.

As for La Femm Nikita and Point of No Return, the american version is
not an americanizeation of the French movie. Both are based on the book.

Point of no return was translated into the american look, more action-less talk
La Femm Nakita did have a lot of talking in it, what do you expect from a french
film. Of the three(book and movies) I still liked the French movie the best,
though the book is very good too.
