Note, be very careful with smart bows.

In our campaign, another player has a troll with Strength = 8 (I think...
well it is definitely above 6 or 7). He is armed with a Ranger X bow of
Power 8 (I think, again). Anyway, what this means is that by SR2 rules,
he can fire his bow and hit a target at greater range than possible with
a sniper rifle (although Quicksilver's [can't remember date, see
my other posting] posting may have solved this problem). If we let him
put a smartgun link on it he may as well go into the assasination
business.

Oi, I hope so. Under my range rules, a sniper Rifle can hit a target at
1.6 km.

And no, the scope does NOT multiply ranges for non-firearm attacks. This
includes "special" weapons.
