We have this character, he's just a bit off his rocker (former Winternight
subrunner whose been "rehabilitated") who took a bow, smartlinked it and gave
it a rigger remote ops deck with IVIS/FDDM. Then, he took each arrow (well,
only a couple arrows actually) and made them bod-0 drones of sorts. Shoots
the arrow high up, then uses the bows designator to paint the target. "Smart
Arrow" comes gliding down onto its' target ... and, if it's done
right...*BOOM* (similar to a microgrenade).
IF someone else picks up the damn bow, the smartchip in the handset locks up
the pulley system and won't let the bow work -AND- it locks up the remote
system and all electronic internals. Sure, his shots take more time...but,
when they do hit...oh yeah, far funner...
-K (who also points out it is FAR cooler to role-play this situation when
you want a good "cliffhanger" to end a game with...)
