]The operative word is "had". Once the target is out of view the mage no longer
]has LOS. Since the spell only works in LOS, it can no longer work. It has
]no idea where the target is since it is no longer where the mage told him it
]was. If the target was still visible the mage could tell it where the target
]is now, but with the target out of LOS, he can't.

A related question, but it might have been answered:
what happens if the person leaves LOS, then reappears?

Good question, Rev. Actually it depends on if something I just said is correct.
Thinking a little more closely about what I said, I have to vacilate between
one of two positions.

A) Once LOS (or Range) is broken, the spell dissolves due to lack of target.
B) As long as the target is in LOS (or Range) when the spell is free to travel
to it, the spell will "hit" the target.

Thinking about it as a Range and LOS problem (that is to say for a limited range
spell, what happens when the target moves out of range but is still in LOS) A
would have to be the correct answer.

Therefore IMHO, as soon as LOS or Range is broken, the spell locked in astral
combat dissolves due to lack of a target.
