Okay, so the back of a van can hold about 30 CF. And a lot of the figures
for LAV's give 30 as the cargo space. Therefore, a LAV can hold about the
same as a van, just do it faster.

For the sake of arguement, lets make a run. Seattle to Aztlan (the big
run). That's about 3000 miles, or 4000 kliks (all numbers approx). I don't
even remember if they give fuel costs, but we'll say 2 per liter. So you've
spent 16 grand for gas (round trip), maybe another 4000 for bribes and you
picked up sandwhiches at the Stuffer Shack before you went. It takes you 20
hours of constant flying both ways at 400kmh. That's two nights of flying,
plus say 2 days in area to sell your stuff.

So assuming you get in and out in piece without damage, you just spent 20
grand and 4 days of your life. What do you get for it?

IIRC a generic SAM costs 4000. You could fit maybe 20 stacked to the
cieling in the back. That costs you another 80000. Then you run these down
to Yucatan. Street Index is 4 on a SAM, and in a war zone would be a lot
more. Especially with all of those attack choppers that the Azzies run. But
we'll say you sell at only 3, one less than normal Street Index. That means
you pocket 240000.

Subtracting out expenses for purchase and fuel etc you made 140000 bucks.
And that assumes that you come back in empty, with nothing from down there
and nothing picked up on the way back to Seattle anywhere else. Boy, 140K
for 5 days of danger, almost sounds like a Shadowrun...
