Ares DL-9 Assault Rifle (original idea from GURPS CyberPunk)

Ares is proud to offer for the first time to our general security
customers the revolutionary DL-9 Assault Rifle. A compact bullpup
design, the DL-9 drastically increases your combat options by
allowing you to keep two different clips in the weapon at the same
time. A simple switch allows you to change back and forth between
clips. Want your beat security guards to capture and stun
intruders, but afraid of leaving them outgunned? No problem, just
load stun ammo in one clip and regular in the other. Or maybe you
just need lots of ammo between full reloads. Again, the DL-9 is the
choice for you. Comes with an integral Gas-Vent II Recoil System
and a built in laser sight.

Type: Assault rifle Conceal: 2
Ammo: 24 (*2) Dam:8M
Wgt: 5.5 Cost: 2500Y
Street Index: 1.5 Avail:10/5 days
Legality: as other assault rifles (I forgot to write it down)

>>>>>[A nice weapon suitable for those who like to tailor their
response to the situation. I find it especially useful to keep
those rare APDS rounds in one clip, in case I run across some
extra tough opposition, while using explosive in the other (for
normal situations). The extra ammo available is also sometimes
useful.]<<<<<

Notes: Replacing both clips takes two complex actions.
Switching between clips takes one simple action, unless the weapon
is Smartgun equipped, in which case switching is a free action.

Defiance Arms Monowire Rounds (original idea Mike Loseke, I believe--
he didn't post any stats, so I made some up)

To take out the serious opposition. The round consists of two
small tungsten solid shots, connected by a 3 inch strand of
monowire. When fired the two shots naturally try and spread,
only to be restrained by the monowire.

Wgt: .3/round Cost:50Y/round
Street Index: 4 Avail:12/12 days
Legality:6J (originally a military round)
Damage: 12S

>>>>>[You have not seen pain until you've seen the wholes ripped
in someone by a burst of these babies. Serious drek, chummers.
The hype forgot to mention two things. First, the monowire is
sometimes not strong enough to handle the snap that occurs when
the two shots first try to spread apart. Second, accuracy
suffers. But when it hits....]<<<<<
--Eclipse (11:14:54/03-14-54)

Notes: This round is for Shotguns only, and can be used in burst-
fire mode.
The target uses Ballistic Armor-2 to resist the attack.
There is a cumulative +1 penalty to hit for all ranges, including
short (i.e. +1 at short, +4 at extreme). Since this is related
to the length of flight, rather than the accuracy of the original
shot, vision magnification systems do not help.
For every round that is fired roll 2d6. On a roll of two the
monowire is not strong enough to handle the snap as the shots try
to spread, and the round snaps in two, with both shots flying off
in random directions (the target obviously takes no damage in this
case).

Phosphorus (Willie Peter) Grenade (thought it was appropriate 'cuz
of all the talk on this net--I've always been peeved with FASA for
mentioning Phosphorus grenades in that first story with Ghost (SRI)
and never posting any stats, so I made some up)

Conceal: 5 Wgt: .5
Cost: 200Y Street Index: 2.0
Availability: 12/4 days Legality: 2J (military, again)
Dam: 5L in one-meter radius (explosion)
resist as normal grenade
12M in two-meter radius (flaming gel)
resist with 1/2 Impact+body+Combat Pool
Will burn for 10 combat turns, with the power level of the attack
being reduced by 1/turn. People and items take damage every turn.
Use Fire Elemental side effects noted in Grim II, pg. 113, except
all items take an additional -2 penalty due to the extreme heat..

>>>>>[Hard to believe they don't list this baby in the standard
catalogs. Very effective and very unpleasant to be caught in.
Note that the Willie P is considered a military weapon under the
legal system (not that anybody seems to care) and penalties for
possession, transport, and use are correspondingly higher
(something about the additional fire damage seems to annoy the
authorities).]<<<<<
