Alright Fahnuir, here are some questions I need answers for before I can
help you.

Is this an area effect spell?
Does it use and elemental effect?
What is the Range?
How much damage does it do?

For an example, I will do a spell with the answers of Yes, Blast, LOS, and M.

Sonic Boom
This spell creates a thunderous explosion of air that harms all in the area of
effect. It uses the elemental effect of blast to cause Stun damage to the
targets. In addition, the spell deafens the targets for 1 Combat Turn for every
2 successes generated by the caster.
Type: Physical Range: LOS Target: 4
Damage Level: M Duration: Instant Drain: [(F/2)+2]D

Modifier Target Level
M Damage M
Physical Spell +1
Stun Damage -1
Area Effect +1
Elemental Effect +1 Blast
Bonus Game Effect +1 Deafness as above
0 M+3

Is the effect of a close sonic boom covered anywhere in the rules. I just
remembered some show I saw about how a jet pilot could fly, say, a hundred
feet off the ground at mach 1 (I know, insane, but after having Marine
pilot taking off and landing on my old ship, I know a few pilots who would)
could kill an entire village just from the sonic boom. Just curious :)
(mroowww... ACK! RIP.) :)

Shawn, feeling a bit loony.

I don't think such an effect is covered in rules anywhere, with the
possible exception of R2 or one of the (many) books I don't have:) Since
most of the ones I don't own are place, adventure or toy books, I doubt
such rules exist...

If the system shock is that nasty, though, I would think that it would be
real easy to replicate:

<GM:> You're all dead.

:)

Nasty idea, Deosyne. Killing your PCs through sonic overpressure?
Ouch. (USN - fly the friendly skies...NOT!:-))

Try taking the square root of (aircraft speed (in metres per second)
divided by absolute aircraft distance (in metres)). Base damage is L
stun, staged up by one 'success' for every 10 'per seconds' over 0.

This idea is rougher than sandpaper, so anybody who wants to clean it
up, be my guest.

I think it would be from "overpressure," instead of "system shock,"
but
the cause of death could be argued either way. Maybe more like being
right next to a concussion grenade or trapped up in a huge, gothic
church's belltower at highnoon.

Instead of an **&*'s SavingThrow vs SystemShock = "You're all dead."
try:

<EGM:> "Your ears, nose & *eyes* begin to bleed profusely, as your
internal organs rupture one .. by .. one! "

(Or was that too graphic for the audience?)
