"And now, a Channel 6 editorial reply to whoever started this."

Can the SOTA song example be applied to other songs? I give you my
version of "Lump."
(with appropriate spoiler space, 'cause why not)

Dunk

Dunk sat in his home in Lake Louise,
Thinkin' real hard about the threat of Enemies.
He wanted to help out us humans,
The other Dragons all said "No can do, man."

He's Dunk, he's Dunk,
He's big and blue.
He's He's Dunk, he's Dunk, he's Dunk,
He could eat you.

Dunk dealed and landed his own show,
Since he knew our country was all glued to trideo.
Then he said "Hang on to yer heads,
'Cause soon I'll be sleepin' in the Lincoln bed."

He's Dunk, he's Dunk,
He's on T.V.
He's Dunk, he's Dunk, he's Dunk,
He's in D.C.

Dunk was friends with ol' Harlequin,
But they just couldn't keep all those nasty Horrors in.
The Enemy was gettin' a head start,
So Dunk killed himself, and formed the Dragonheart.

He's Dunk, he's Dunk,
He's good and dead.
He's Dunk, he's Dunk, he's Dunk,
For us he bled.

Are Horrors killing my game?
Mike thinks so.
Is Earthdawn sorta to blame?
Mike thinks so.
Is this Dunk outta my game?
There he goes.
Will the world go on the same?

Now that deserves a standing ovation. Brilliant :)

Weird Al could be proud of that (and for those haven't seen it, check
out Weird Al's new song, "The Saga Begins" at
http://www.sagabegins.com/)

cheers

Not bad. I don't remember "Lump" off the top of my head, but it looks
good anyway.

Though I'm not too sure I want to take credit for starting this
trend....

Perhaps there should be a "Shadowrun Spoof Songwriter's Guild" to act as
GridSec for the questionably talented among us, myself included. :)

Hmmm....I'm not really sure I like this one as much....call me whatever, but
the rhythm just doesn't seem to match...

Actually, I tried to match up the number of syllables with the
original song. Did it work? I don't much care, it was fun to do :)
