It occurred to me last night how nicely some of the wild
conspiracy theories would fit into the SR world.

So, some sources for plot ideas would be:

"Secret and Suppressed" (Banned Ideas and Hidden History)
by Jim Keith. Feral House, 1993.
(& it includes the article `What's wrong with the Anarchist's Cookbook)

"Casebook on Alternative Three"
I think this is by Jim Keith, too. Alternative 3 is the idea that the
Powers that Be are planning to move to Mars. Involves aliens and
explanations of cattle mutilations.

"It's a Conspiracy"
by The National Insecurity Council, Earthwater Press, 1992.
This is a more serious book. For instance, it explains that after
the CIA employed ex-SS officers (they saw the end of WWII coming, and
surrendered, taking lots of intelligence they'd collected on their
hated enemies, the Russians), for some reason the Cold War really
heated up. :-)

And you can ftp all sorts of weird and interesting stuff from
spies.com under the /library/fringe directory, I'm told.

Hope this can be inspirational to a few GMs out there,

luke
