I think that the best way to start a decker is just to get a stock deck, and
pattern the skills etc off the sample deckers in the sr3 book. Deckers are
one of the more complex characters and simple things like program selection
and tactics can get out of hand quickly. My favorite type is the Samuraii/
Decker... in most of the games I have played in, deckers have a tendancy to
be a hinderance to a game with mostly mages and sams. If you don't make them
combat ready you cvan also have a very dead decker. Keep it simple, start
basic, and figure out the nuances on the way.
