Riddle me this;

If the effects of UGE and Goblinization are a "magical effect", or even a
"normal genetic effect" with a magical trigger, would Metahumans revert to
human if they travel far enough past the barrier?
Would children born outside the barrier goblinize or be born as
dwarves/elves?
Would HMHVV be cured by or go into remission from an extended stay outside
the barrier?

Is the background count on Mars 0.00, or are there some traces of
magic/astral presence? (Mars being special in that the atmosphere would
supposedly be breathable if pressurized enough, so life could be supported
in domes).
If there is not magical/astral potential on Mars, wouldn't it be just about
the best place to go when/if the horrors ever show up?
If there is astral/magic potential, are they (the Horrors) already out there
somewhere, waiting for their lesser spirits to weaken the barrier enough to
let them in? Or messing with the minds of society from afar?

I agree that they are perfectly feasible in Shadowrun. However, the moon is
farther away than the space stations, and I think it would be harder to
regularly traffic with. Not significantly so, but it is a different
experience.
