Anyone can help me on the 'Space' and 'Mana Vacuums' issue. I only
heard of it (rumours, not facts), but I didn't find it in any
sourcebook that I have available. Were can I find further information
on this?

Thanks,
Sven ;-)

I do believe mana vacuums are covered in Awakenings.

Comments on the inability to use magic in space are scattered throughout
several books.

I wouldn't be suprised if MitS didn't address the issue thoroughly.

They are also covered in Atzlan, where they are referred to as Foveae.

Target: UCAS is what you're after. It has rules for "voids" created by the
solution to the Chicago problem, which can also be used for other places
where mana levels are very low -- such as in space.

I truly hope that this holy book will be here soon to that it can be
analysed for is usefulnes.

And it is shortly mentioned in the Travelsection of the Neo Anarchists Guide
to North America (NGtNA). Although I admit that it it is just a short one
inside there, but for the books...

I couldn't find it in Awakenings.

There's also some shadowtalk on the subject in the sub-orbital section of
the Neo-Anarchist's Guide to Real Life.

Wasn't there talk in one of the latest novels also? Technobabel I think.
Where the megacorps meet up in the suborbital platform, one of the reasons
is that it keeps it their meetings safe from magical snooping... I know
novels aren't considered rules but they often describe the world setting
pretty well...

It's in Target: UCAS, related directly to Strain-III-beta though the rules
are easily used for other situations where there is a shortage of mana --
like in space.

In the 'Other Threats' section, last page of the 'Major Mojo' chapter (as
far as I recall). Mostly reiterating stuff from Atzlan.

I don't think there need be rules for mana vacuums; you go into one, you die.
