Thanks to all those that replied, many of your answers helped.
Do keep in mind that the goal of my campaign isn't to shoot for
realism, but to try and intergrate a little bit more character into my
violence-hungry Players. I figure if I can keep them from doing less
legwork, then maybe they'll miss it. <g>
As for the vehicle I was searching for, I think I'll stick with a
modified(for the military) Stallion. And of course the C-260 for the
big jumps.
As for the bayonets- I think they are a keeper. But since I'm going
to allow the characters to pick their gear(to a certain degree, of
course), it will be up to them if they use bayonets at all.
I've written the first mission for my game out and am working on the
second. For those of you that inquired about a copy, you'll get them
shortly. And I extend my invitation to anyone else that wants to post
them.
Thanks everyone, and thanks for not dragging this out into a "does
not, does too" discussion... well... almost. <g>

Ahhh but the discussion of how to proberly design a vehicle for covert
incert/extract was fun and interesting to those involved i bet:)

True. the Spec Ops comunity has always tended to be fairly lienent in
gear selection from what i can tell but certian things tend to be
standardized. Like EVERYONE in the unit puts the "essentials" like
medpacks in the same place. When its dark out and your budy is hit you
dont want to have to search his body while getting shot at to find the
presure bandages to stop that gaping chest wound.
