To Genichi's question:
As far as I know, there is no legal way to get more than four
initiative dice. The only case that I know of where that did
happen is with the Phys. Adept I had in ShadowTk last year. (He
just might have to come back again this year, if I ever have the
time to get back on to the list.) Scythe had the three extra dice
from his physad powers, and a mage member of his initiation group
quickened (with a lot of persuasion/calling in favors/promising his
first born...) a specially researched version of the Inc. Reflexes
spell, which was tailored especially to his aura and the way it worked
so that the spell would mesh with his power. Plus, when Scythe uses
both boosts, he takes automatic, unresistable, mental and physical
damage from the massive stress the magic is putting on his body.
And one last thing: I do not intend to play a character with that
kind of boost. Scythe is a one-of-a-kind made especially for the
list, as he bends the rules close to the breaking point, even with
the penalties he gets.

On other topics...
People refer to the novel "Nights of Blood". Is this not really
the novel "Streets of Blood"? Thought I might point it out, though
someone else probably beat me to the punch...

Dang; there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember
it... Ah well, guess it's finally time for that mnemonic enhancer...
