Yeah, i can admit that the perception spell is semimunchkin, but it
came up while i was GMing- the players wanted my sorcery adept NPC
to scout out the building from A-space (projection), or at least scope
the grounds for paranormal thingies (perception). After admitting
he couldn't do those things, I broke character and said- "Hey wouldn't
it be cool for an adept to make a hypersenses A-perception spell- why
should physads have all the fun?"
I never did though.

Regarding the perception idea, didn't the Germany sourcebook include
rules for cottage magic, or mystics or something? I seem to recall
that you could assign priority D to magic as a human (or was it C?)
and (GM willing of course) get a sensitivity to astral phenomena (weird
dreams, uncannily accurate fortune telling, knowing when dead relatives
are in the room, et cetera).
