but my experience is that the majority of spells work as well as necessary
at around Force 4. Combat spells (and Heal and Treat) are the exception, in
many cases, but for most "utility" spells this is a good Force.
Barrier spells might be the signifigant exception. A force 9 barrier spell
has really nasty drain, but is MUCH better protection than force 6. While
the karma issue is neither here nor there (some people give out more than
others), the TN mod bothers me some. I have some trouble with mages being
able to easily learn spells at such high force, specifically for reasons
like the mega-force barrier...
