again...KA*GE is accepted by FA$A as the official SR magazine..If you do
not accept their rulings so be it..But don't complain that
others do...
Here is the info on rules for shapechanging:
KA*GE, issue 7, spring 93, page 39, question 28, as follows:
28. Can Shapechange and Transform spells be used to take a form
of any size? How about something as large as a Blue Whale or a
tiny Krill?
These spells can be used to change the caster's size within limits.
You can shapechange or transform into anything which has a body within
two of the caster. That means a body 4 individual can change into
anything with a body of 2 to 6.
now that is what the mag says...obviously though, transform is used
on other people, so i would say that if used on another person, you
can change them into something +/- 2 body points based on the spell
target's body...that way, you could transform a troll with a body of
11 (max normal body) into a large bear (body 10), a rhino (body 12,
basically a troll on all fours :) ), a large shark (body 10), or
maybe a small elephant (normally body 15, but it could be a
smaller specimen, or maybe an indian vice african elephant)
the problem here is that the smallest you could make the same
troll would be something with a body of 9...so none of the old
turn the bad troll into a bunny or turtle trick...
