I wouldn't even think about letting one of my runners have multiple power
foci. The idea is absurd even if it isn't specifically prohibited in the
rules, and I can't believe it's not. A mage with a Magic Rating of 30+
is a blaring example of Munchkinism at it's worst. I would rule that if
a mage were stupid enough too want to have multiple foci grounded to his
person, then only the highest rated foci would benefit the mage but the
rest would continue to be "active" in the sense that they are "bonded"
to the mage. Maybe this is too tough but the other way is a long slippery
slope down to Munchkinland.

It is perfectly permissable but as someone pointed out elsewhere in
has drawbacks, as each one adds up to the int stat based limit on
active foci.

If he wanders about with that lot active very much then someones
going to notice and the sort of folks that will try to collect 3 off
rating 9 power foci are grade X initiates with a merc friend or two.
The merc friend doing the take down with a suitable sniper rifle
(barrat does the best job but is not required) while that mage
provides shielding etc as back up.

If he has enough brains to keep them off when not in use then he'll
have to spend an annoying ammount of time turning them on.

Ok overall those foci can be used but 'Munchkin' would be rather
appropriate, 1 rating 9 power focus is allowable assuming the
character earned the thing, which is possible but several though
plenty feasible especially if you leave magicain loose this
enchanting gear for months at a time is rather over powered. Powerful
characters are 1 thing but there are limits to what gives a
reasonable game.
