Ok what I really wanted to know is did all the Spice Girls
impersonator bands have to drop Ginger after she left? And Spike what is
she up to nowadays, do you still keep in touch?

Nope. It's just that I loath the spice gits^H^H^H^Hgirls, and for the first
time in my life, the name Halliwell brings me shame and constant questions
like "Are you related to Gerry?".

I haven't. and I've only gone as far back as my great grandparents with
mine, but the fact that we come from different parts of the country should
give a clue...

I can understand that you are disappointed with her for making it in the
music industry with a manufactured group but that's no reason to disown
her ... Come on, make up and let her come to family reunions again ...

Yeah, like that you can still be related -- I've got relatives I've never
met on the other side of the country, whose great-grandparents (or a
generation near those) moved over there for various reasons. Just because
she's never lived anywhere near you doesn't mean you're automatically not
related.

Come on, Spike, admit to it :)

Three of my four sets of great grandparents weren't even born in
this country. Location means little to my family.
