Not having MitS, I wondered if anyone could tell me whether or not
the Free Spirit powers have changed at all from the 2nd. Ed. Grimoire.
Specifically, I wondered about the powers of Animal Form, Human Form,
Hidden Life, and Aura Masking.

There are some changes, mainly in their use of spirit energy, which is not
automatically added to their Force for just about all things anymore.
Apart fom that, there seem to be very few changes.

Not substantially. I'd say you can use the descriptions in the Grimoire
easily enough; MITS only seems to spell out the actual rules a bit better.
