One hint: don't go to places like Verdun and summon one...

Not sure if it's viable. War is very bad for nature (I mentioned Verdun --
only in the last 20 years or so have trees been able to grow again in that
part of France...) so I don't think there'd be a _nature_ spirit of war.
Still, if you want one, it would be a Spirit of Man, with the attributes
that go with those. IMHO its powers would be Accident, Compulsion,
Concealment, Confusion (extra strong), Fear, Guard, and Materialization.

Well, there are nature spirits for cities and those aren't good for Nature.
And isn't dying all part of the cycle of life? (Nevermind the nukes, save
'em for the toxics.)

Then it would largely be a crap shoot what you get. I would rule IMC that
if you were summoning out side of certain Holocuast camps, you might get a
little Nazi, or you might get a little GI who was one of the Liberators. I
might even describe it in the astral as a conflict betweent he two, with
normal forms fighting to contain the txoic forms.

I thought I said Spirit of Man?

Don't they have war spirits already? You might know them as
"wraiths"...

Those could be a borderline case. IMHO, a spirit of war would be almost
always toxic, especially so at the sites of major battles (as opposed to
smaller ones).

> And isn't dying all part of the cycle of life?

I won't disagree with that. But in a war, there is dying on a much greater
scale than nature would "expect" to see happen.

I doubt it...

In a case like that, yes. On the site of a big, meat-grinder-style battle,
I'd say it's toxic all the way.

Yes, but they're all _nature_ spirits.

Doubtful, VERY Doubtful....
