Don't be silly. The shaman would be alienated until the next sunup/sundown,
when the spirit normally goes away or when the shaman changes domains.

Not being silly, if the shaman summoning the spirit suddenly no longer
existed to control the spirit...why couldn't you rule a free spirit test?
The shaman was silly enough to allow himself to be alienated anyways.

If it were an Elemental you were probably right, but a Nature Spirit
isn't forced to help the Shaman, it is more considered a friend so it
would hardly attack the Shaman... although it could continue carrying
out it's service until sunset/dawn without the Shaman being capable to
stop it. *grin*

I'll by the difference in attitudes of Elmentals and Spirits. However, I'm
curious how you reason nature spirits go free in your game, if it's not a
breaking away from the shaman that conjured them.
