][s it just me, or did FASA screw up again when it comes to bows, just
like every other SF RPG in the world? ][ mean, let's face it, a good
70-pound draw compound bow delivers far more kinetic energy than a 7mm
assault rifle round does! Not to mention that stiletto-tipped arrows
can punch through most lightweight armor as well as APDS rounds will.

][ hate it when games short-change low tech just because its low-tech.
And if you think a laminated composite compound longbow isn't
high-tech, you're dreaming. The M-16 today is 20-year-old technology;
Fabrique Nationalle's weapons are mostly 10+ year-old (or older) tech;
the modern Olympic-class bows are state of the art in composite
materials.
