At the risk of egoism (and because I missed a LOT of this
thread), I'd suggest that my Intitiative system modification ideas at
http://www.concentric.net/~evamarie/webinit2.htm (Wordamans Shadowfaq
link adds an eronious"l" at the end) answers a LOT of the issues I saw
in the posts from this thread, and creates a minimum of new ones. It can
even the speed field a lot, or just tweak down some "unfair"
advantages. I've gotten little feedback, exept from one player who
loved the dice method, and from Mike who may have considered some
portions for Sr3, so please tell me if its playable or just a load of
crap. I wrote it, but don't play it for a variety of reasons.

Arg! Dude, you gotta tell me these things! Sorry, 'bout that. I swear I
tested it when I first added the link and it worked fine. I corrected the
link.

Its NOT your fault- the link worked fine the serveral times I tried it
a while back- I think I may have uploaded a revised version a few weeks
ago without the "l"- perhaps with mr.gates help (yeah, I'll blame the
tools, thats it!).
htm (or HTM) is the ending I normally use, so its good that its
consistant now. I'm getting "Frontpage" in a bit, and GOD knows what
that is gonna do- I'm starting to see why "404" is the most commonly
visted page. My pages need a LOT of organizing.
