That's because he should only have one level of dermal armor, if I recall
correctly.

My players love archetypes, best victims in the planet. Real easy to
kill and have Real expensive gear. A good starting mage made by a pc
can EASILY beat 3 archetype mages [maybe more] and get a LOT of loot.
Those power foci are really expensive, yummy.

I tend to use them as rewards, if an adventure pays too little and the
players did well, I throw in an archetype.

BTW: my players NEVER ground a spell through a lock.
Fragging waste of 90.000 nY.
Just kill the mage and get the locks.

This is a really OLD error (i.e. sr1 hardcover) But the fix always seems
to show up in the softcovers, muscle replacement 1, with all relavent
stat changes, of course. Essense .35, I think, or .1

only given time, my books SR2 softcover and has the error, but its in
the errata in the GM screen (all of which is supposed to be in the
softcover, but only about half the corrections actually are)

essence comes to .1 i think.

Are you surprised by that? You should compare the errata sheets for the
hardcover and the softcover editions of SRII some day... And still they
didn't manage to fix all the bugs :/
