Okay, I had a little question about mechanics here, concerning the "base
damage" of combat spells. Now, if a spell has a base wound level of S under
what circumstances doesn't the spell go off? Obviously, if the caster gets
no successes the spell should do no damage, right? What if the caster scores
2 and the defender scores 2? The spell still does S damage, right? Or maybe
not. I'm confused. Someone enlighten me.
