Is the second edition manual worth purchasing or is it just the same as
the first edition with a new name? I havent played Shadowrun for a
while and I have the first edition manuals. Also are there any new
accessories or modules that I should be sure to get? One more, how is
Earthdawn? I play AD&D and am curious if anyone has played both
Earthdawn and AD&D and could compare the two?

Yes. It goes a lot faster for one thing. Secondly, it has a lot of the kinks
worked out in magic and combat. Its not that hard to change over - all the
stats are the same - its just the mechanics that became better.

Accesories - Hmmm Fields of Fire, Lone Star and Denver would be good of the
total 2nd ed stuff. You will probably also want the Grimore II - revise for
2md edition - it has a changes that you will need and is the only 1st ed book
they reprinted.

That all depends on are you going to GM or just play..And what do you
prefer to play..and If you are not going to GM what books does your GM
have???

One more, how is

There isn't really much that will really
compare in the two nothing really works the same in either story...
