Isn't that a centering technique? How about a tip to Earthdawn and calling it
"Versatility"?

Well, everybody makes mistakes ...
The Mental Adept is ... the Mental Counterpart to the Physical Adept.
Another house creation. I'll probably post it in a day or two ... still
working on it.

It can be used as centering, but in tht case, it is a little more.
Versatility WOULD be a good name for it :)

Hmm, that's more like the what was described in Awakenings than what I
was thinking. I distinctly recall someone proposing a true mental adept,
based on the main NPC in "Dark Angel", where it is hinted that he's a mental
adept
with some as-of-yet undescribed magically enhanced musical talents.
I don't recall the talents, but among them were non-physical attribute versions
of Increased Attribute and Enhanced Skill which works on artsy type skills.
