I've noticed a decidedly dodgy statement in the astral section of SR3
meaning that while astral forms may block LOS it DOESN'T matter because you
can see around them!!!
on P171 SR3 para4 I quote
"
To use astral perception spend a simple action to Extend
your perceptions to the astral plane. This allows you to see any-
^^^^^^^^^^
thing present in astral space
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"
now does that look to you like when you astrally perceive you can see
anything in astral space?
also
para 5 same page
"
It take only a Free Action to see anything actually present
in astral space ...
"
so for a free action if it's in astral space you can see it!!
then of course you cast a spell at it
page 182 SR3 para 6
"
An astrally preceiving spellcaster can cast
a spell at anything physical or astral he can see
with his normal vision or astral perception.
"
so there we go we can now cast spells at an astral form on the other side of
the earth with no problem at all!!!

P.S. Please I know that I have deliberately missinterpereted this
statement so don't attack me for that I was just bringing into question what
I think is an ambiguous rule.
