Hi all,

I'm just knocking up a new character for an upcoming game
of SR3 and have found a rather alarming discrepancy in the
character creation rules in relation to Enemies from the
SR3 Companion.

Our GM said that we can either use standard priority
based char-gen or we can go with 120points from SR3Comp.
One thing that is constant is that he is going to use the
Enemies rules as published in SR3Comp.

I'm thinking of a decker and was going to take Resources
of <Dr Evil>One Million Nuyen</Dr Evil>. I was going to
use the 120pts option but saw that this will get me enemies
to the value of rating 6 wheras if I use the priorities system
I get the equivalent of rating 4. Now I don't know about you
people but there is a vast difference in being hassled by
two rating 2 enemies than one rating 4 and one rating 2.

I can't seem to see what justifies the additional 2 points
of enemies based purely on the method of character generation
that I choose, both of which are meant to be balanced with
each other. Both methods give me 1,000,000Y but one comes
with the added headache of more bad guy for your buck.

Is this an issue that has been addressed before or is it
dealt with in an errata somewhere? If there has been no
discussion on this can people offer their opinions on how
to handle it.
