Threats was presented that any of it could be just rumors, your
basic urban myth. With that in mind most of it can be dropped into games
since the stories sounded plausible within the teller's experience. All
of them except for Strain 3. Here was a story that was so contrived that
the mundanes of the 6th world would believe but the awakened would not. I
could write an essay on each instance where suspension of disbelief fails
utterly. In short, a perfect urban myth.
I was toying around with stories behind the story and a twisted
truth behind this so-called Strain 3. Then the Bug City solution came
about invoking Strain 3 and turned my plans upside down. Myth no longer.
So I've been working on another story about it, then Astral Space
changed. So I've started working on yet another story but now FAB may
change it's nature. I will yet see this messy corner of my favorite game
cleaned up yet!
Anyway, now that GenCon is over I need to write Mike to see if it's
taken care of and to pitch out this idea I've been having on a related
note.

Ah, he says, suddenly understanding.

Maybe I don't play enough magic. How did astral space change (or is this an
SR3 thing that I just need to get hold of the new rules to understand)?

If he bites on it and you need a proof-reader, let me know.

Yes. The nature of Astral Space changed to escape from the pitfalls
of grounding and FAB.

That would really have to be Kenson. My project title is Magicknet
F.A.Q. which will serve a number of goals and topics for me.

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal names
more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.
