I have an excel-based one, called "blakkies chargen". Found it through a
link on dumpshock.

I may or may not already have that one....was trying to do one that's a bit
more stylized like a set that I played with designed for d20 Modern...will
be designed to walk you through, step by step, possibly with explanations of
what you're picking out and all of that as well, then when you hit the
character sheet tab it'll look as close to the original sheet as possible
but auto-fill the data.

I also plan to try to work it into a webpage so it can be used online/from
any computer.

Yes, when I actually make a character, I make up an exel sheet to keep track
of the numbers. never figured out how to do the bells and whistles I'd like
on a permenant template (drop down lists of stuff etc) I saw a nice
non-English language one, but it was locked, so I couldn't just go in and
translate everything.

If you want to e-mail me that offlist I'll unlock it and send it back to you
so you can translate it if you'd like....

Mine's probably a few more months in the future, I'm currently using a
project of an army list builder for the Infinity miniatures game as a test
dummy of sorts, referencing various tables and so on as soon as you call a
certain item from a dropdown box and whatnot. What's holding me up
currently is a stupid error I get any time I try to reference the results of
one "auto populating" field based from a dropdown and make it look to
another table to pull the stats for it... (i.e. I choose a fig who
represents a light grunt carrying a rifle and light shotgun for ballistic
weapons, I want the weapon stats to pull from a different table so that the
weapon stats don't have to be incorporated into the data table for each
individual variant of each fig....seeing as there are usually about 5+
variants for about 10+ fig types per army, and iirc there's about 6
armies....I don't wanna do 300 entries for the weapons when I've already
created the table for the weapon stats....
