But considering how messed up the stats of their contacts are, I treat it with
an industrial-sized bag of salt.

OR:

A troll physad with maxed natural STR, and all his power points dumped into
STR, with a compound bow and di-koted arrows.

15. I will never employ any device with a digital countdown. If I find that
such a device is absolutely unavoidable, I will set it to activate when the
counter reaches 117 and the hero is just putting his plan into operation.

Said troll would still have a great deal of trouble
damaging the MBT: the arrows lack the explosive charge
that's supposed to devastate the tank's insides. If
the troll aims *really well* he/she might
hit/damage/disable a (critical) system. Basing oneself
purely on the SR3 damage model a troll might manage
it, but (realistically) only by virtue of *somehow*
getting in the lucky shots all the time.

Perhaps there's something I don't know about hitting
thick layers of armour with dikoted arrows, but going
on physics alone it doesn't seem like it should work
the way the SR3 damage model would make it (which is a
good sign, because the idea's just silly if it'd work
that well -armies might prefer training troll physads
to buying more MBTs).

cheers,

Jan Jaap

Mmh... That still wouldn't be enough. Attack power is
divided by 2 against vehicle armor. Unless you're
using naval weapons, you need an attack power of 81 or
more to damage the thing.
